4.6. Reporting on the Systems Engineering Project

After the completion of the analysis and evaluation phases of the systems engineering project, an intermediate report was prepared (compare annex R "Report: 'The Kabarole District Health System - Description, Opportunities and Suggestions for Improvement'"). The report was structured according to the multi level model for the description of information systems and contains a list of suggestions for improvement of the health information system. A draft version was submitted to all members of the district health team and discussed with interested staff members. However, the efforts for preparing the report were seriously underestimated, delaying the start of the construction of the software application product into the eleventh week of deployment.
